She is an alumna of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She completed a pharmacy practice PGY1 residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, a Health Policy and Ambulatory Care Fellowship at Howard University College of Pharmacy, and is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS).
