Salematou Traore-Uwalaka is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) currently practicing as an Internal Medicine and Medication Management pharmacist at a Carroll Hospital Center, Lifebridge Health. She graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, then completed a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Salematou’s current role focuses on improving outcomes for high healthcare utilizers and decreasing readmission for patients with COPD, CHF, those on long acting insulin, and anticoagulation. She ambitiously provides patient centered and clinical services to these medically underserved and underrepresented populations though collaboration with the patients, caregivers, and providers to ensure exceptional patient care and outcome.
